Darren joined The 1st Battalion Parachute Regiment in 1983 and served over 22 years in a variety of operational theatres, including over 5 years in Northern Ireland, a tour of Kuwait and Iraq in 2003. On completion of service Darren moved into the security industry and worked his way through the ranks from being a team leader on a PSD, through a static guard command position to become the Director of Protective Security for one of the largest risk management companies in Iraq with over 2200 employees. Darren has over 10 year’s commercial experience in Iraq and is responsible for the operational delivery of Al Murabit Security Services contracts in Southern Iraq.
